Turkmenistan can be attractive for foreign investments while ratifying documents on the international commercial arbitration, purchase-sale of goods and immunity of nation, the participants of law forum held in Ashgabat said.
Burden of the workshop is Issues of nation's immunity. Some aspects of the international private law. Employees of the Ministries, banks, law enforcement and justice agencies took part in the workshop.
Professors of the University of Bremen (FRG) Rolf Kniper and Lado Chanturia were invited as lecturers.
Organizers of the event include the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, the National Institute for Human Rights under the Turkmen President and German Society for technical cooperation implementing the project Support of legal and judicial reforms in Central Asia.
Participants of the forum stressed that Turkmen reforms, including encouragement of private entrepreneurship, called for liberalization of national investment and tax legislation and new wording of the Turkmen Constitution, local media said. In total, Turkmen integration in the international political, economic and legal spheres has been recently observed. Moreover, great importance is attached to the international cooperation and improvement of national legislation.
