The volume of investments in housing construction in Kazakhstan’s capital Astana amounted to 288 billion tenge, said the deputy head of the capital's administration Sergey Khoroshun during a meeting of the local executive body.
The officials discussed the forthcoming changes in creation of new state bodies and redistribution of state functions at the meeting, the press service of the local executive body said in a message.
"In 2017, the value of construction work amounted to 608 billion tenge - this is the best result among the regions of the country. In the mentioned period, we also commissioned 2.3 million square meters of housing - this is also the best result in the history of the capital," said Khoroshun.
He added that the investments in housing construction in Kazakhstan amounted to 288 billion tenge.
