Kazakhstan unveils trade data with its top partners in Americas

Kazakhstan’s trade with the countries of North, South Americas has amounted to $2.8 billion over the period from January through November 2021, which is 34.3 percent more than $2.1 billion over the same period of last year, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Kazakhstan’s trade with the US amounted to $1.9 billion, which is 25.2 percent more than during the same period of last year ($1.5 billion). Kazakhstan’s export to the US was $734.7 million, whereas import was $1.2 billion.

Trade with Canada amounted to $426.2 million over the reporting period of 2021, which is 24.7 percent more than during the same period of 2020. Kazakhstan’s export to Canada was $346.9 million, whereas import was $79.3 million.

Furthermore, bilateral trade with Mexico amounted to $156.1 million, which is 2 times more than during the same period of 2020 ($76.9 million). Kazakh export to Mexico amounted to $19.1 million, whereas import was $136.9 million.

Kazakhstan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $91.3 billion over the period from January through November 2021, which indicates an increase of 15.4 percent as compared to $79.1 billion during the same period last year.
