Azerenergy Production Association (PO) which covers the production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan generated over 17.5 billion kilowatt/hours electricity in January-October. This is equal to the volume of electricity generated in January-October 2012, Azerenergy PO said on Tuesday.
According to the report, over 1.7 billion kilowatt/hours of electricity was produced in the PO system in October compared to 1.5 billion kilowatt/hours in October 2012.
The cross-flow of electricity with neighbouring countries - Russia, Iran, Turkey and Georgia continued in October.
