Kazakhstan sees growth of investments in fixed capital of agro-industrial complex

The investments in fixed capital of the agro-industrial complex in Kazakhstan in the first 11 months of 2021 increased, the Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Karashukeyev said at the governmental meeting, Trend reports.

According to Karashukeyev, the total investment in the fixed capital for the reporting period amounted to 659.7 billion tenge ($1.51 billion) and increased by 40.5 percent on annual basis.

He also noted that investments in fixed capital of food production amounted to 91.2 billion tenge ($210 million), which is 2.6 percent more than from January through November last year.

Previously, the Ministry of Agriculture, together with local executive bodies, developed and approved roadmaps for the implementation of investment projects in the agro-industrial complex for 2021-2025. In accordance with the roadmaps, a pool of 934 investment projects for a total amount of 4.4 trillion tenge ($1 billion) was prepared.
