Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi conferred with Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin on expansion of relations and cooperation between the two countries, IRNA reports.
In the meeting, the Tajik minister referred to fruitful visits of the Iranian officials particularly Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to Tajikistan, calling for bolstering of relations between the two Farsi speaking countries that share common culture.
The Iranian official, for his part, referred to deeply rooted ties and affinities between the two nations and called for promotion of all-out relations and cooperation between the two sides.
