Georgia, Luxembourg sign confidential information agreement

Georgia and Luxembourg have signed an agreement on the protection and exchange of confidential information. As the Georgian Foreign Ministry said, the signing ceremony took place in Luxembourg during a meeting of foreign ministers of Georgia Grigol Vashadze and his counterpart Jean Asselborn.

Georgia and Luxembourg have signed an agreement on the protection and exchange of confidential information. As the Georgian Foreign Ministry said, the signing ceremony took place in Luxembourg during a meeting of foreign ministers of Georgia Grigol Vashadze and his counterpart Jean Asselborn.

The parties discussed the recent parliamentary elections in Georgia, and constitutional transfer of power to the opposition.

Asselborn appreciated holding elections in a democratic atmosphere and stressed the importance of the process of the power transfer.

Ministers also discussed Georgia's recent efforts on the path of European integration, stressing the need to continue this course.

"European integration is the desire of the people, and it does not depend on change of administration, therefore I can assure that the process of Georgia's European integration will continue," Vashadze said.

The sides also discussed other issues of bilateral cooperation.
