Northern Ireland-born singer Van Morrison, 64, Tuesday announced the birth of a baby son, named George Ivan Morrison III, on his website, DPA reported.
Morrison and his wife Gigi Lee said the newborn "Little Van" was the spitting image of his father. He would have dual citizenship of Britain and the US, where his parents have a home.
Belfast-born Morrison, who is notoriously private, kept the location of the birth secret, saying only that the baby had arrived safely on Monday.
