German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle on Monday welcomed the death of Osama Bin Laden, who he described as "one of the world's most brutal terrorists", DPA reported.
"It is good news for all peace-loving and free-thinking people in the world that an end could be put to this terrorist's bloody game," Westerwelle said.
"He has the life of thousands of innocent people of his conscience," the minister added.
