Digitisation of Archaeological Survey of India estampages starts

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) today started the digitisation of its rich repository of estampages housed at its epigraphy division in Mysore, a move that will enable access of such rare material to historians and researchers, Trend reports citing The Tribune.

The digitisation process was formally inaugurated by V Vidyavathi, Director General of the Archaeological Survey of India, in Mysore.
