A new electoral bloc opened its headquarters today in Azerbaijan.

The Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (DPA) and the Umid party decided to establish the Garabag electoral bloc earlier this week. The parties have agreed on candidates in 93 constituencies.

"Our Deputy Chief of Electoral Issues Taliyat Aliyev was appointed the chairman of Garabag," DPA leader Sardar Jalaloglu told Trend today.

"The parties will agree on the bloc's structure and schedule at a meeting later today," he added.
