Allied political opposition parties Musavat and Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) are at variance. The parties can not reach a consensus regarding the rally.

The PFPA considers it necessary to take certain nuances into account, before holding rallies, PFPA deputy chairman Nureddin Mammadli said on Monday.

"At the presidium of our party a decision was taken to continue actions. Fuad Gahramanli and I addressed a meeting of the so-called Public Chamber on this matter. We stressed that the actions must necessarily take place. Disagreements are associated with the date of rallies. We believe that it is wrong to determine date of rally at the moment without considering the certain processes," Mammadli said.

He said that committee on rallies should be created in the called the Public Chamber.
"The so-called Public Chamber was created as an alternative government structure. In this case, it is incorrect that the Chamber only makes decisions on rallies," Mammadli said.

This issue is not a serious disagreement, chairman of the Majlis of the Musavat Party Arzu Samadbayli told Trend.

"Voicing different views in the so-called the Public Chamber is normal. People express their opinions at meetings. When the decision was made not to hold meetings, priority was given to the majority. The so-called Public Chamber has a common position regarding the issue not to hold rallies," Samadbayli said.

At the meeting of the so-called Public Chamber on April 30 Musavat party proposed to hold a meeting on May 15, but members of PFPA were against holding the rally.
