BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 4. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is expected to visit Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
According to the Foreign Ministry of Türkiye, at the invitation of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Fidan will join meeting of ministers within the framework of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) countries, which will be held on July 5-6, 2023 in Baku.
In addition, he will take part in a meeting of the Committee of Ministers on Palestine and also in the centenary celebration of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.
Fidan will also hold bilateral meetings with opposite members.
Azerbaijan has been chairing the NAM since 2019. Despite the fact that the period of the country's chairmanship in the organization fell at the height of the pandemic, Baku successfully fulfilled its presidential mission and received the right to lead the movement for another one year.
