Bulgarian NGO announces primary totals of exit polls in Azerbaijan

Primary totals of exit-polls performed May 13 in all 10 election constituencies of Azerbaijan, have been announced by Ilia Bozhenov, head of Civil Association for Free and Democratic Elections of Bulgaria, Trend reports.

According to the primary totals of the poll, Ahmed Veliyev won in second Surakhani district #31 (67 %), followed by Ilham Huseynov with 7 %. Asif Hajiyev was elected in second Nizami-Ganjevi district #38 (68 %), second best was Elsever Ibrahimov with 7 %. Mejid Kerimov won in second Sumgayit district #42 with 80 %, followed by Mirmahmud Fattayev (12 %). It was noted that voters activity in this constituency was the lowest (10-12%) across the republic.

Baba Tagiyev won in Sumgayit-Absheron district #44, and second best was Shamil Khalilov (12%). Fazil Ibrahimli won in Jalilabad-Masalli-Bilasuvar district #69 (44

%), followed by Elchin Ahadov (21 %). Rafig Mamedgasanov won in Gedabek district #103 (52%), followed by Jahangir Huseynov with 17%. Winner in Tovuz-Gazah-Agstafa district #106 was Ilyas Ismayilov (60%), leaving Elshan Ismayilov with 12% behind. In Zagatala district #110 the best was Hikmet Atayev (72 %), defeating Arif Hajili (12 %).

In Agdam countryside election district #119 won Bakhtiyar Sadykhov (58 %), leaving behind Asker Ahmed (17%).

The poll did not reveal an obvious winner in second Binagadi district #9. It was reported that two candidates, Rafael Jabrailov and Chingiz Ganizadeh, gained 25-26 % each, leaving behind Bakir Abdurrakhimov (12 %).

Accuracy of the poll, Bozhenov said, is in a range of 2-3 percent.
