State bodies are taking actions against employees for violating ethical norms.
A number of state bodies have taken actions against employees violating ethical norms. This helps to increase transparency, Young Democrats-Reformers Chairman Vusala Huseynova told Trend.
The Azerbaijani Presidential State Service Commission told Trend last Wednesday about state institutions that have taken actions against their employees. Nine state bodies reprimanded 242 employees for violating ethical norms and three state bodies dismissed 14 employees.
"The actions against employees who violate ethical norms in state bodies must be evaluated positively. This prevents corruption in state bodies," Huseynova said.
"According to my research, for example, I can say that the Industry and Energy Ministry, Economic Development Ministry, and Ecology Ministry have close ties with citizens. There is an email address and hotline at the Ecology Ministry considering citizens' appeals," she said.
All of this demonstrates the responsible attitude of state bodies toward achieving their goals.
