The Azerbaijani Taxes Ministry has registered a branch of the Belgian biggest building company BESIX, the ministry's official website reported.
The enterprise was founded by the Belgian company N.V.BESIX S.A in 1909. The enterprise passed the state registration on Nov. 17. The company's juridical representative is Liven Van Sande.
BESIX and its subsidiary companies cover practically every sphere of building activities and operate in the Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Southern and Central Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and the Caribbean basin.
In 2009 the company's income attained $1.92 billion. the group of companies employ about 19,000 people in 15 countries on four continents.
