Azerbaijan ranked second amongst Georgia's major foreign trading partners during January-February 2012, the National Statistical Service of Georgia told Trend on Friday.
Trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $161 096 000 in January-February, which is 12 per cent of Georgia's total foreign trade turnover. At the same time Azerbaijan exported goods worth $92 935 0 to Georgia, while exports of Georgia amounted to $68 161 1. Azerbaijan has again become the largest export market for Georgia in February.
Turkey again ranks first among Georgia's foreign trade partners. Turnover between Georgia and Turkey amounted to $190 917 3 Germany ranks third among Georgia's foreign trade partners with a joint turnover of $102 072 8.
The total foreign trade turnover of Georgia in January-February 2012 amounted to $1 345 678 9 of which $307 338 9 accounts for export and $1 038 340 0 for imports.
