An extraordinary meeting of the Azerbaijani Texnikabank has been held today, the bank said on Friday.
The new composition of the audit committee, as well as a number of decisions concerning the activities of subsidiaries of the bank was approved in the frame of the meeting.
The bank said that it was also decided to hold the next Extraordinary General Meeting of Texnikabank on August 15.
The new composition of the Supervisory Board was approved at last general extraordinary meeting of shareholders in June. Rovshan Ismailov, who previously held the position of chief financial officer at International Bank of Azerbaijan was appointed the new head of the supervisory board of the bank. Fuad Murshudlu and Rauf Agayev were appointed new board members.
The new composition of the Board, consisting of five members was approved in May. Mansurov Ulvi was appointed Chairman of the Management Board. The board of directors also includes: Yashar Safarov (Deputy Chairman), Garay-Zadeh Ayaz (Vice Chairman), Huseynov Orhan (Board Member) and Hajiyev Jamin (board member).
Texnika Bank has been operating in the banking market since 1993.
