Claas Global Sales GmbH to deliver agricultural machinery to Turkmenistan

A supply of agricultural machinery from Claas Global Sales GmbH is expected in Turkmenistan. Some 500 tractors will be supplied to the Turkmenobakhizmat state association by the end of year.

The contract was signed in spring of this year according to presidential decree.

The contract will provide 'the successful realisation of radical reforms in Turkmenistan's agriculture, a further increase of agricultural producers' work effectiveness on collecting a rich harvest, as well as productive exploitation of tilled tractors in accordance with agricultural requirements'.

The contract will supply AXION-850 tilled tractors and EurOpal 9 5 No.100 ploughs and their spare parts.

Class supplied 270 combine harvesters to Turkmen market last year. Service centres are already operating in country regions. According to local specialists this technique is designed for local soil and climatic conditions.

Combines designed for harvesting wheat as well as rice with optimised construction and mechanisms are among this delivery.

There is a specialised course in agricultural studies at the University of Turkmenistan for examining special techniques for operating Claas agricultural machines.

Claas is one of world leaders in the field of agricultural production. The company was established in 1913. It produces a wide range of machines. The company has been actively operating in Turkmenistan since 2007 and is currently supplying balers along with tractors and combines.
