Iran receives €18 million in loans from ECObank

ECObank has paid €18 million in loans for establishing a wastewater treatment plant in the city of Shahriyar, near Tehran, the Mehr News Agency quoted Tehran Water and Wastewater Company's managing director Mohammad Parvaresh as saying.

Considering that Tehran Province's population will reach 11 million by 2021, some 9,000 kilometers length of wastewater collection pipeline should be established, he added.

Ecobank, whose official name is Ecobank Transnational Inc. (ETI), but is also known as Ecobank Transnational, is a pan-African banking conglomerate, with banking operations in 30 African countries.
