Prices for secondary housing up in Azerbaijan

Prices for secondary housing in Azerbaijan increased by 3.29 percent in September 2018, compared with August 2018, general director of the consulting company MBA Group, a real estate expert Nusrat Ibrahimov told Trend on Oct. 19.

"Thus, the average price was 974 manats per square meter. Over the year, prices for secondary housing increased by 2.19 percent. As for the primary market, here, compared with August, there was a 1.41 percent decrease in prices, and in terms of the year - an increase of 4.77 percent," Ibrahimov said.

According to Ibrahimov, the prices of the land plots decreased by 3.7 percent compared to August and increased by 6.18 percent over the year.

In the rental market, the rental value of one apartment was 898 manats. Compared with August, the growth was 4.3 percent, for the year - 14.5 percent. In the rental market of commercial real estate, the decline for the month was 1.38 percent, for the year - 8.56 percent.

Talking about the situation in the car market, he noted that in September 2018, 1,444 cars were put up for sale at the Baku car market. The average price in the market amounted to 28,011 manats. Compared with August, this indicator decreased by 1.01 percent.

At the same time, prices for cars with an engine capacity of up to 2 liters increased by 6.75 percent in a month, with an engine of more than 3 liters - decreased by 7.57 percent.
