Foreign loans make over 14% of total investments in Uzbekistan

In January-September 2018, 71,068.1 billion soums were invested in fixed assets in Uzbekistan, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said in a report.

Of these, 56.3 percent, or 39,992.7 billion soums, were raised funds, and 43.7 percent, or 3,075.4 billion soums, were own funds of enterprises and organizations.

From the centralized sources of financing, 20,656.3 billion soums were invested, or 29.1 percent of the total investments. From the decentralized sources of financing, 50,411.8 billion soums were invested, or 70.9 percent of the total investments.

From the own funds of enterprises and organizations, 22,119.2 billion soums were invested, or 31.1 percent of the total investments. From the population, 8,956.2 billion soums were invested, or 12.6 percent of the total investments.

Foreign loans issued under the guarantee of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 10,434.0 billion soums, or 14.7 percent of the total investments.
