The total budget allocated for the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey for implementing transport and infrastructure projects in the country will amount to 64.275 billion Turkish liras (TL) in 2020-2021, the ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, 31.183 billion TL will be allocated for the implementation of projects in 2020, which will be 3.413 billion more compared to the budget for 2019.
"An amount of 31.092 billion TL will be allocated for the implementation of projects in 2021," the ministry said.
The ministry noted that the budget increase will positively affect the implementation of important projects, including the national megaprojects.
