Baku Textile Factory eyes to launch new production line

Azerbaijan's Baku Textile Factory plans to create a new line for the production of fabrics for the manufacture of baby clothes, Sakina Babayeva, the plant’s director, told Trend.

She noted that the launch of the new production line is planned for the coming year.

“We plan to implement this idea at the plant in the first half of 2020,” she said. “New products will be manufactured under the brand “Made in Azerbaijan” and exported to Arab countries. We already have oral contracts with our partners in the UAE regarding the export of the plant’s new products.”

The director noted that in the medium term, the practical implementation of several ideas related to the opening of the subsequent production lines of export orientation is planned.

Seven production lines are involved at the Baku Textile Factory, and they operate in continuous mode.

In total, the plant employs 300 people.
