Product exports of Iran's Isfahan province increased by 45 percent in terms of weight during past İranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020), compared to the year before (from March 21, 2018 to March 21, 2019), said director general of the customs administration of Isfahan province Rasul Kuhestani, Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
According to Kuhestani, about 7.41 million tons of products were exported last year.
Kuhestani added that the value of the exported product was $2.6 billion and there was no change in exports in terms of value.
The official said that Isfahan province share in Iran's non-oil exports was 5 percent and 1,250 types of products were exported from this region.
"The value of exported cast iron, iron, steel and similar products was $1.2 billion (49 percent), value of oil products was $516 million (20 percent) and the value of organic chemicals was $119 million (5 percent). These were the most exported products from Isfahan province," he said.
Kuhestani said that Isfahan province exported its products to 98 countries last year. About $630 million worth of product to Iraq, $356 million worth of product to China, $286 million worth of product to Afghanistan and $151 million worth of product were exported to Pakistan.
