BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 12. The passenger car manufacturing of Iran Khodro Industrial Group (IKCO) has increased by 47 percent since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Deputy Director of the IKCO Kianoush Pourmojib said, Trend reports citing the group’s website.
The deputy director noted that Iran Khodro Company manufactured a total of 264,202 passenger cars within the mentioned period, while in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 180,000 passenger cars.
“In recent months, the quality of the cars manufactured by the IKCO has noticeably improved. Also, achievements have been made in the field of after-sales services,” he added.
According to Pourmojib, Iran Khodro Company will put two new models on sale over next Iranian year (March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024).
