BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 3. Iran’s non-oil exports from Isfahan Province (central Iran), amounted to 1 million tons worth $673 million during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), Director General for Isfahan Province Customs Office, Rasoul Kuhestani said, Trend reports citing IMNA (Iranian Metropolises News Agency).
The director general noted that the exports increased by 12 percent in value, while did not change in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
“Within 6 months, Iran mainly exported iron and steel products worth $267 million, petrochemical products worth $112 million, dairy products worth $56 million, cast iron and related products worth $50 million, factory and hand-made carpets worth $48 million through customs of Isfahan Province,” he said.
Kuhestani added that the province's goods for the reporting period were exported to 83 countries, including Iraq worth $265 million, Pakistan worth $119 million, Türkiye worth $63 million and to Afghanistan worth $42 million.
“About $385 million worth of goods were exported through Isfahan customs, $182 million worth through Kashan customs, $77 million worth through Isfahan Steel Company customs, $25 million worth through Mobarakeh Steel Company customs, and $5 million worth through Isfahan Shahid Beheshti International Airport customs,” he pointed out.
