BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 7. Iran’s non-oil exports from Isfahan Province (central Iran), amounted to 1.24 million tons worth $824 million during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2022), Director General for Isfahan Province Customs Office, Rasoul Kuhestani told Tahlil Bazaar News Agency, Trend reports.

According to Kuhestani, the exports increased by 5 percent in value, while did not change in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

The director general added that in total, 671 types of non-oil products were exported through the customs of the province in 7 months. The exported products were mainly petrochemical products, dairy products, carpets, cast iron and iron products.

He also said that the province's goods for the reporting period were exported to 87 countries, including Iraq, Pakistan, Türkiye and Afghanistan.

“About $462 million worth of goods were exported through Isfahan customs, $224 million worth through Kashan customs, $102 million worth through Isfahan Steel Company customs, $30 million worth through Mobarakeh Steel Company customs, and $6 million worth through Isfahan Shahid Beheshti International Airport customs,” Kuhestani noted.
