( Worldcarfans ) - Every year Mercedes releases a special edition in support of Saks Fifth Avenue's battle against cancer, and this year Mercedes comes through with a special edition of the brand new C-class. Mercedes hopes to raise one million dollars with the sales of 1000 Mercedes C350 special editions, which arrive at dealerships this month.
The Mercedes C350 Saks Fifth Avenue special edition is powered by the 268 hp, 3.5 liter V6 engine and comes with an exlcusive Sahara Beige and Black leather interior. The exterior receives its fair share over overhaul too with Obsidian Black paint, 18 inch AMG twin-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, and AMG body kit consisting of front and rear bumper, side skirts and rear spoiler.
Over 50 charitees will benefit from the C350 funds and Saks' will also be donating some of their weekend sales. Renee Zellweger will be making appearances as ambassador for Saks Fifth Avenue's 2007 KEY TO THE CURE in ads and a public service announcement.The Mercedes C350 Saks Fifth Avenue special edition will be on show in Saks Fifth Avenue stores during the Saks shopping weekend from Oct. 18-21, 2007.
