The tender for the privatization of Greek DEPA gas company is scheduled to be held on June 10, a spokeswoman for the Greek Privatization Agency (HRADF) Maria Tsinaridu told Russian journalists on Monday, RIA Novosti reported.

After opening proposals from five investors, the award date of the tender was again postponed. May 29 and June 7 were named among the alternative dates.

"The tender results will be announced when the press release will be posted," she said.

Among the participants of the contest are Russian 'Gazprom' and 'Negusneft' from 'Sintez' group, as swell as two Greek consortiums and the Azeri state company SOCAR.

DEPA Holding is engaged in wholesale and supply of natural gas to major customers. Through its subsidiary DESFA the holding owns the national gas transportation network and regasification terminals. In addition, DEPA owns 51 percent of the companies on the retail sale and deliveries of natural gas to small and medium businesses and private customers in Greece.
