Eurasian petroleum production to continue positive trend by 2022

Eurasian petroleum and other liquids production will stand at 13.70 million barrels per day in 2022, as compared to 14.66 mbd in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

EIA estimates Eurasia’s quarterly production at 13.38 mbd, 13.61 mbd and 13.58 mbd in the first three quarters of 2021 each, and forecasts this figure at 14.23 mbd in Q4 2021.

The quarterly forecasts for 2022 are as follows: 14.41 mbd, 14.61 mbd, 14.74 mbd and 14.88 mbd in Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 2022, respectively.

The volume of production in Eurasia was 13.41mbd as of 2020, according to EIA.

In particular, EIA expects Azerbaijan to produce 0.72 mbd and 0.74 mbd in 2021 and 2022 respectively, as compared to 0.70 mbd in 2020. Kazakhstan’s output is set to remain unchanged from 1.86 in 2021, before rising to 1.98 mbd in 2022. Russia’s production will stand at 10.78 mbd in 2021 and 11.57 mbd in 2022, as compared to 10.50 mbd in 2020, while Turkmenistan will produce 0.24 mbd in 2021 and 0.23 mbd in 2022, versus 0.25 mbd in 2020. Other Eurasia’s output is forecast at 0.11 mbd in 2021, unchanged from 2020, then growing to 0.14 mbd in 2022.
