ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 4. Entrepreneurs from the UAE purchased a large volume of jet fuel on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
According to an official source, businessmen from the UAE bought a large batch of jet fuel for a total of over $4.18 million at a discount of $50 per ton.
All the jet fuel sold was produced at the enterprises of Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern.
At the same time, businessmen from Türkiye purchased 109.8 tons of regenerated fiber from Turkmen production on the stock exchange for a total of $76,860.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
