Kazakhstan increases production of passenger cars over 9M2021

A total of 55,016 passenger cars were manufactured in Kazakhstan from January through September 2021, which is 30.8 percent more than during the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

In turn, passenger car production in September alone amounted to 7,494 cars, which also is 54.9 percent more than in September 2020.

The number of cargo vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan during the reporting period stood at 6,971 vehicles (838 in September), of specialized vehicles at 211 (80 in September).

Furthermore, the number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured in September 2021 amounted to 55, which is 59 percent less than in September 2020. The number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured over the reporting period stood at 489 vehicles, which is 72.6 percent less than during the same period of last year.

In turn, spare parts for vehicle output amounted to 74,852 during nine months and 14,014 in September 2021, which is 28.6 percent and 4.6 times more respectively than during the same period of 2020.

A total of 26 diesel locomotives were also manufactured in Kazakhstan over nine months of 2021, and two in September alone.
