BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 28. Tajikistan imported from Austria chemical products for 17,687 euros from January through February 2023, the source at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.
Of them, chemical products for 3,326 euros were imported by Tajikistan in February 2023, and for 14,361 euros in January 2023. Notably, in February 2023 the imports decreased by 76.8 percent compared to January 2023.
As Eurostat reports, last year, Austria supplied Tajikistan with chemical products for 1.5 million euros, which is 24 percent less than in 2021 (2 million euros).
Overall, the value of Tajikistan’s imports from Austria is estimated at 629,915 euros in February 2023, and at 515,425 euros in January.
Meanwhile, Austria exported to Tajikistan goods for 13.2 million euros in 2022, which is 22 percent or 2.3 million euros less than in 2022 (10.8 million euros).
Tajikistan imported goods from EU countries for 31.6 million euros in February 2023 and 24.7 million euros in January 2023.
Tajikistan’s imports from EU countries amounted to 260.6 million euros in 2022, which is 10 percent more than in 2021 (237.8 million euros).
