(ISNA) 38,000 birds were culled in Iran, especially on the borderline with the Azerbaijan Republic.
"Measures taken towards bird flu has changed; any suspected or unusual case is killed immediately," added Iran's Veterinary Organization chief Hassani.
Hassani also announced that the carried out tests up to this point had shown no sign of bird flu.
