Tehran, Iran, November 1

By Mehdi Sepahvand -- Trend:

Deputy CEO of the National Iranian Oil Refinery and Distribution Company Shahrokh Khosravani said all refineries across the country are operational, denying reports that some refineries in the country have closed down.

Yesterday, over 1.805 million barrels of crude oil was processed in the refineries, he stated, as reported by SHANA news agency on November 1.

Pointing out that repair operations at the Isfahan and Tehran refineries are nearly finished, Khosravani said that except for a gasoline-processing unit in the Tehran refinery, repair operations for all refineries across the country have been completed.

Yesterday, the Abadan, Arak, Isfahan, Bandar Abbas, Tabriz, Tehran, Shiraz, Kermanshah, and Lavan refineries processed 410, 251, 361, 327, 110, 210, 59, 21, and 65 thousand barrels of crude oil, respectively, into a variety of products, which indicates that the refineries are operating and that repairs have been timely, the official added.
