Iran exports 80,000 tons of LPG

The Islamic Republic has exported over 80,000 tons of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) over the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 20).

Amir Vakilzadeh, an official with the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) has said that the country exported 127,000 tons of LPG in the last Iranian calendar year, Mehr news agency reported.

He further said that the country has exported LPG to three African countries of Kenya, South Africa and Tanzania, using the ISO tank containers since March 20.

Meanwhile under a new deal, Iranian Oil Ministry is expected to increase the volume of the exported LPG to Indonesia to 500,000 tons within the next year.
