BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 16. The port of Ambarli, located in Istanbul (Türkiye), received 2,900 vessels from January through June 2023, Trend reports.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the port of Ambarli received 754 vessels under the flag of Türkiye and 1,336 vessels under the flags of other countries, during the reporting period.
The ports of Türkiye received 5,658 vessels in June of this year.
According to the ministry, the number of vessels taken to the Turkish ports under the flags of other countries amounted to 3,785, and the number of vessels taken under the flag of Türkiye amounted to 1,873 during this period.
The Turkish ports received 28,836 vessels from January through June 2023.
The number of vessels under the flags of other countries accepted by Turkish ports amounted to 20, 970, and vessels under the Turkish flag - 8,739, during the reporting period.
