Leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan and Ambassador of Algeria Nasser Busherit discussed the expansion of cooperation, the press service of the ministry said.
"The sides discussed the prospects of further expansion of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between the two countries," said the message.
In addition, the formation of the legal framework and the participation of representatives of business circles in exhibitions, fairs and business forums held in Uzbekistan and Algeria was discussed at the meeting.
Nasser Busherit took over as head of the Algerian diplomatic mission in Tashkent in March 2015. In this position he succeeded Mekduda Ramdan, who finished his mission in Uzbekistan in January 2015.
