Tajik President Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Redjep Tayyip Erdogan during his official visit to Turkey, Avesta.Tj reported on Tuesday.
The sides discussed the usage of existing potential aimed to develop Tajik-Turkish relations in the spheres of economy, education, culture and other areas.
They supported an initiative on estabishing a council on cooperation under the lidedership of Tajik President and Turkish Prime Minister.
The activity of the council is expected to develop the strategic relations between the countries.
The sides signed nine documents on bilateral cooperation during Rahmon's visit to Turkey.
