Following legal talks between representatives of Iran and Argentina held in Geneva over AMIA bombing case, the two countries have decided to continue consultations to reach a final agreement, ISNA reported.
Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and his Argentinean counterpart Hector Timerman both expressed satisfaction about the result of negotiations between experts on Wednesday during a phone conversation.
Also both countries have underlined their commitment to continue talks until they reach a final agreement.
The next round of negotiations is going to take place late November 2012 but the definite time and place will be decided through further diplomatic contacts.
The 1994 bombing in Argentine Israeli Mutual Association (AMIA) building left 85 people dead. Ever since some Argentinean officials under Zionists influence claim that Iran and Lebanon's Hezbollah had been involved in the terrorist measure. This is while no evidence has been found to support the allegations and Iranian officials have always rejected the accusations.
Foreign Ministers of Iran and Argentina who were meeting at the UN headquarters in New York late September on the sidelines of UN General Assembly agreed to hold talks through their legal deputies at the UN headquarters in Geneva.
The two sides said then they meet to define a mechanism that in accordance with the legal systems of both countries in order to pursue the case and to come to a final solution agreed by both sides.
"The goal is to explore a legal mechanism that does not go against the systems of either Argentina or Iran," their statement said.
