The Free Syrian army created by the opposition to oppose the Syrian army has 60,000 servicemen, the Turkish Sabah newspaper reported on Tuesday.
Process of splitting off from the Syrian army is primarily observed in the cities of Homs and Aleppo in the air forces of the country.
Meanwhile, Syrian problem is expected to be discussed at a meeting of the National Security Committee of Turkey, which will be chaired by President Abdullah Gul.
Anti-government protests have persisted in Syria since March 2011. Daily reports are being received about the deaths of people, both civilian and the security forces. According to UN statistics, the total number of victims in the country exceeds 10,000.
