Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy R. Sherman departs for Geneva, Switzerland on Sunday, October 13, 2013 to lead the United States' delegation to the P5+1 talks with Iran October 15 - 16, said in statement of State Department on Saturday.
Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council -Russia, China, France, UK and the US - plus Germany known as the P5+1 group will hold a fresh round of talks in Geneva on October 15-16.
Foreign ministers of Iran and the six countries held talks at the United Nations headquarters in New York on September 26, with the main focus being on Tehran's nuclear energy program.
