The EU must not differentiate the PKK and the “Islamic State” (IS) terrorist groups, said Omer Celik, Turkish minister for EU affairs, the TRT Haber news channel reported June 29.

Celik added that the EU countries’ statements on the terrorist attack in Istanbul are important, but Turkey also urges those countries to take more drastic actions.

Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport came under a terrorist attack June 28.

Forty-one people were killed as a result of the terrorist attack, and currently, 239 injured are receiving treatment in Turkish hospitals.
