On Sept. 24, Georgian Parliament adopted final draft of constitutional amendments.
Approving constitutional changes requires 100 votes.
With 110 votes, including one against, the Parliament adopted constitutional amendments, concerning restoration of mandates of the MPs. The MPs from the radical opposition who want to come back to the parliament must appeal to the Speaker by January 1 for their restoration.
The amendment on partial transfer of the parliament to Kutaisi was adopted with 111 votes, with one vote against. This change implies conducting plenary session of Parliament in Kutaisi from 2012, and committee hearings - in Tbilisi.
