The CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (IPA) will observe the upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
The IPA's International Institute for Monitoring the Development of Democracy, Parliamentary System and Electoral Rights will begin its monitoring mission on Sept. 10. The monitoring will be held by the institute's Baku branch.
The branch will establish electoral offices in five Azerbaijani regions. Each office will be staffed with four electoral experts.
Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for Nov. 7. The elections are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
