Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Pacific Affairs Abbas Araqchi will travel to Baku next week to hold talks with Azerbaijani officials on various issues, a diplomat at the Iranian embassy in Baku told the Mehr News Agency.

Education Minister Hamid Reza Haji-Babaee traveled to Baku in late July to submit a message from President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev inviting him to attend the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran in late August.

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Pacific Affairs Seyyed Abbas Araghchi's visit to Azerbaijan scheduled on July 27 has been postponed, the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend earlier.

According to the information, the visit has been postponed due to the tight working schedule of officials from the both countries.
