So, today Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin was summoned to the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
"During the meeting held today at the Foreign Ministry with the Ambassador of Russia, Armenia's sharp dissatisfaction with this incident was expressed. The Foreign Ministry urged to take all necessary measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident," the Armenian MFA said in a statement.
The accusation of Yerevan against Russia, despite the fact that the provocation was committed by the Armenian Armed Forces, only causes bewilderment.
On June 15, 2023, at 08:45 (GMT+4), as a result of shelling from the territory of Armenia, a serviceman of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan, who served at the Lachin border checkpoint, was wounded.
The enemy firing point was suppressed by return fire, the situation is under the control of Azerbaijani units.
