BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. A series of events
is taking place throughout the country under the decree issued by
the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on
December 28, 2024, declaring 2025 the "Year of the Constitution and
Sovereignty, " Trend's Karabakh bureau reports.
A conference, titled "Heydar Aliyev and Sovereign Azerbaijan,"
held on April 14 at Garabagh University, is being jointly organized
by Azerbaijan's General Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of
Science and Education, in collaboration with the university.
The conference is attended by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev,
Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev,
government officials, lawyers, representatives of higher education
institutions, and media, as well as young researchers.
The conference is part of a broader series of initiatives
planned throughout the year to honor the country's constitutional
and sovereign milestones.
