All elections in Azerbaijan should reflect the position of voters i.e. the whole electoral process should be open and transparent. This is a position of Azerbaijani government and president, the head of public affairs department in presidential apparatus, Ali Hasanov told at the training seminar dedicated to modernizing the electoral practice in Azerbaijan,Trend reports.
All violations have to be rooted out in the beginning, he said.
It doesnt matter who is violator- law enforcement representative, electoral official or ordinary citizen all will be punished according to the law, Hasanov said.
The given seminar was organized by the Baku office of International Fund of Electoral systems (IFES) and it hosted executive officials from 5 districts of Azerbaijan, heads of police departments and judicial bodies.
